When somebody wants to carry a good self defense item for personal protection, and they don’t want to use a handgun or a knife, a good alternative is a high voltage stun gun. This would be a battery operated device that will only disable someone temporarily. The high voltage stun gun has very low amperage; about 5 to 8 milliamps, but it might have voltage of 500,000 volts up to a million volts.

When you have a situation of someone trying to rob you or attack you, the high voltage stun gun might save your life. When you pull the high voltage stun gun from your pocket, you flip a switch, and press the button, and then touch the two prongs to the person’s neck, shoulder, or torso. They will get an incredible shock from the high voltage stun gun, and it will make them drop to the ground. They will be unable to walk or do anything for a while, which will give you a chance to escape.

Every adult woman today should be carrying a high voltage stun gun, just in case something comes up. You never know when some creepy guy might try to bother you, or worse!
