Imagine you are just minding your own business and someone comes up to you with a stick in their hand and acts like they might hit you with it and demands your wallet. Then imagine that you have a personal security item in your pocket. You pull out a stun gun and touch it to the guys shoulder while pressing the button to activate the stun gun. After about 3 to 5 seconds the guy falls to the ground and is all disoriented and confused as you calmly walk away and get out of there!
