Stun guns are battery operated or come in a rechargeable model, and they give a huge electrical shock to the person who is attacking you. Just press a button, touch the two prongs to their body and down they go. Their nervous system gets overwhelmed by all of this electricity therefore causing them to be disabled and giving someone a chance to run for help.
